The Raiders' decision to bench Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby for tomorrow's pivotal game against the New York Giants at Allegiant Stadium due to a knee injury is the major development on the Las Vegas pro sports team betting front.
According to Jay Glazer, Crosby "vehemently disagreed" with the Raiders' decision to shut him down and left the team's facility because he was not happy about it. In the NFL, the game tomorrow will probably decide who finishes last this season. In the NFL Draft this spring, the franchise would possess the first overall pick.
Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza is waiting to be selected No. 1 at quarterback, and everyone who has followed the Raiders this season knows they need a quarterback.
Said Raiders’ head coach Pete Carroll yesterday to the media: “[Crosby’s] been fighting it so hard for so long, fighting this thing for nine weeks, and each week he has done everything you could possibly imagine a guy could do to play and he’s been able to, and they’ve worked with them to get through it. But after an evaluation we did Monday or Tuesday, whenever it was, it just looks too bad.
"He’d have been out there if we let him, and he would not have hesitated. He’s been fighting his ass off the whole time. But he knows that he’s banged up, so [he said] I would like to get out of here. And I said, yeah, get out of here. The competitor that he is … we’ve been talking about it for a couple days. It was exactly like you would think he would do, and he should do. And I agree with him 1,000% on how he responded. I get it. So hopefully we came to the right conclusion for his long-term betterment.”
Carroll insisted that there would be no issues with the team's connection with the player and did not rule him out of the Raiders' season-ending matchup with Kansas City. With 73 tackles and 10 sacks this season, Crosby, a five-time Pro Bowler, has spent his entire seven-year career with the Raiders. In March, he agreed to a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders.
As a result, rumors began to circulate that the Raiders were losing out on the first overall pick because of Crosby's choice.Along with that, there is the inevitable discussion over Crosby's future with the Raiders. In this scenario, the Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears were mentioned as possible destinations.
"Yeah, I don’t give a s— about the pick. I don’t play for that,” said Crosby earlier this week. “My job is to be the best defensive end in the world. That’s what I focus on every day, and being a great leader and being an influence. That’s [the front office’s] job. But that’s got nothing to do with me.”
In addition to Crosby, TE Brock Bowers is still on injured reserve (knee), and OT Kolton Miller has been ruled out (ankle). The Raiders have designated WR Jack Bech (back) and RB Raheem Mostert (ankle/knee) as questionable.
T Andrew Thomas (hamstring), WR Beaux Collins (neck), DL DJ Davidson (neck), OL Evan Neal (neck), and S Tyler Nubin (neck) are all out for the Giants. DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (ankle), OL Joshua Ezeudu (calf), CB Cordale Flott (knee), and CB John Michael Schmitz (finger) are all listed as questionable for tomorrow.
As teams return from Christmas break, the Colorado Avalanche, who are known for their high flying style, will play the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena tonight. The Golden Knights are +120 at BetMGM, while the Avalanche, who have won six straight, are -145 favorites.
With a 27-2-7 record, the Avalanche lead the Central. Vegas is first in the Pacific at 17-8-10.
Neither team has any listed. Colorado has a 27-2-7 record overall and a 12-2-5 road record. When playing at home, Vegas has an 8-4-5 record. In the last ten games for Vegas, former Maple Leaf Mitch Marner has four goals and nine assists.
Vegas is 6-2-2 over the past ten games, allowing 2.5 goals per game on average while averaging 3.3 goals, 6.3 assists, 2.8 penalties, and 6.4 penalty minutes. With an average of 3.6 goals, 6.8 assists, 3.2 penalties, and 6.7 penalty minutes, the Avalanche are 8-1-1 and allow 2.2 goals per game.

The world of gambling has evolved significantly over the past few decades, and one of the most prominent changes has been the rise of online casinos. Offering the convenience of playing from anywhere, anytime, online casinos have transformed the gambling experience for millions of players worldwide. But even with the growth of virtual platforms, many gamblers still crave the excitement of a real-world casino—leading to the emergence of live casinos.
One of the biggest advantages of online casinos is the ability to play from anywhere, at any time. Whether you're on your lunch break, relaxing at home, or traveling, you can access hundreds of games with just a few clicks. There's no need to dress up or travel long distances to get to a casino—your gaming experience is right at your fingertips.
Online casinos typically offer a broader selection of games than their brick-and-mortar counterparts. From traditional table games like blackjack and roulette to a massive selection of slots, poker variants, and even virtual sports betting, the variety is unparalleled. Many online platforms also feature games with varying stakes, catering to all budgets.
Online casinos are known for offering enticing bonuses and promotions, such as welcome bonuses, free spins, loyalty programs, and no-deposit bonuses. These offers give players more opportunities to play and win without having to risk a lot of their own money. In many cases, these promotions are far more generous than what you might find in physical casinos.
Playing at online casinos offers a level of anonymity that isn’t possible in live casinos. You don’t have to worry about being recognized, and you can enjoy your gaming experience without anyone looking over your shoulder. This can create a more comfortable environment, especially for those who are new to gambling or prefer to keep their activities private.
Online casinos make it easy to deposit and withdraw money quickly. With a range of payment options like credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and even cryptocurrencies, players can choose the method that suits them best. Some online casinos even offer instant withdrawals, meaning you can access your winnings as soon as you request them.
Live casinos aim to recreate the atmosphere of a real-world casino by streaming actual games played by human dealers in real-time. You get to interact with professional dealers, other players, and experience the full casino ambiance from the comfort of your own home. The feeling of being at a live table is hard to match with an automated online game.
Live casinos often have higher minimum bets compared to online games. This is due to the involvement of live dealers and the cost of streaming technology. For players looking for low-stakes games, this can be a disadvantage. However, the higher stakes can also create a more thrilling environment for those seeking to gamble more seriously.
While live casinos provide a more immersive experience, the selection of games can be more limited than that of online casinos. Live dealers typically focus on classic table games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. The availability of games may also depend on the casino’s operating hours or the number of players in the lobby.
Since live casino games are streamed in real-time, players can see every action taken by the dealer, ensuring a high level of transparency. Many players feel more secure knowing that there are no random number generators (RNGs) involved, and the outcomes are determined by real-life actions, such as the dealer shuffling the deck or spinning the roulette wheel.
Unlike online casinos, where you play against software-generated outcomes, live casinos allow you to interact with real dealers and other players. Whether you're chatting with the dealer or participating in multiplayer poker games, this social aspect can make the gaming experience feel much more engaging and dynamic.
