Conor McGregor's $100 million request to compete in next year's White House UFC card would undoubtedly raise some eyebrows for a man who hasn't walked into the ring in four years.
McGregor is seeking 100 U.S. "Golden Visas" for himself, his loved ones, and friends in addition to the Big Bucks' $100 million to fight in the White House. I'm excited to amuse the fighting community once more. I never take this pleasure for granted!
On X, McGregor wrote that. As part of the celebrations for America's 250th birthday, the UFC is now collaborating with the U.S. government to construct a temporary stadium that can hold 5,000 people and have a UFC event on the White House grounds for spectators to watch next summer.
McGregor was prominently voicing his desire to participate as soon as U.S. President Donald Trump announced the news in July. Additionally, tens of thousands of people will watch the event in a nearby park that has a stage with live music and larger screen televisions.
Last week, UFC President and CEO Dana White appeared on Fox News to show off the live event's graphics.
“My vision for this thing is we have this big arch, with the lighting grid, because what I want is the White House on the back, and when the fight goes around to the other side, you’ll see the Washington Monument,” said White.
McGregor's reference to "Golden Visas" most likely alludes to the Trump Gold Card immigration scheme. The cost of these was recently reduced by Trump from $5 million to $1 million. Residency will be expedited for those who pay that.
McGregor has stated that he would like to face Michael Chandler. Last week, Chandler expressed interest in fighting McGregor on Fox News.
Since injuring his leg during a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, McGregor has not competed in the UFC Octagon. He had to withdraw weeks prior to his scheduled rematch with Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 because to a toe injury. In his last four UFC bouts, McGregor has suffered three defeats.
After all, McGregor has spent the last four years marketing whisky, cigars, a run for Ireland's presidency, and a Prime Video TV movie cameo opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. Perhaps there is a good chance that this will all work out because White did mention last week that he and McGregor had been speaking a lot lately.
Preparing for a title battle against belt-holder Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 320 for one (Sandhagen +300, Dvalishvili -440 at FanDuel) is the top priority for Cory Sandhagen, the fourth-ranked bantamweight fighter.
Sean O'Malley, the top-ranked bantamweight, discussed the UFC 320 bout on his podcast, "BrO'Malley Show," this week. He also discussed his future plans with Sandhagen, including their eventual battle. He also has his sights set on the White House UFC celebration.
“The White House card, Cory out there and wins [at UFC 320], I beat whoever’s next, that’s interesting,” he said. “But regardless, I want to fight within the next four or five months, whatever it is, and then I’ll also be ready for that. Being on the Sphere card, being on the White House card, these are just legendary moments. They’re once in a lifetime f—ing moments.”
However, Sandhagen's tone in an interview with CBS Sports is less enthusiastic.
“I think that Umar and Yan are the more deserving guys right now,” Sandhagen told CBS Sports. “I definitely want to be an active champ. This fight is in October. I’d like to fight in the first quarter of next year against [Petr] Yan or Umar [Nurmagomedov]. Once I get one of those back, we’ll see what happens for the summer card, whether it’s O’Malley or Yan or Umar.
“I think that O’Malley and I at the White House would be sweet. Hopefully, he gets a couple of wins so we can do that. He needs to get some wins because he’s fallen a little bit behind.”

The world of gambling has evolved significantly over the past few decades, and one of the most prominent changes has been the rise of online casinos. Offering the convenience of playing from anywhere, anytime, online casinos have transformed the gambling experience for millions of players worldwide. But even with the growth of virtual platforms, many gamblers still crave the excitement of a real-world casino—leading to the emergence of live casinos.
One of the biggest advantages of online casinos is the ability to play from anywhere, at any time. Whether you're on your lunch break, relaxing at home, or traveling, you can access hundreds of games with just a few clicks. There's no need to dress up or travel long distances to get to a casino—your gaming experience is right at your fingertips.
Online casinos typically offer a broader selection of games than their brick-and-mortar counterparts. From traditional table games like blackjack and roulette to a massive selection of slots, poker variants, and even virtual sports betting, the variety is unparalleled. Many online platforms also feature games with varying stakes, catering to all budgets.
Online casinos are known for offering enticing bonuses and promotions, such as welcome bonuses, free spins, loyalty programs, and no-deposit bonuses. These offers give players more opportunities to play and win without having to risk a lot of their own money. In many cases, these promotions are far more generous than what you might find in physical casinos.
Playing at online casinos offers a level of anonymity that isn’t possible in live casinos. You don’t have to worry about being recognized, and you can enjoy your gaming experience without anyone looking over your shoulder. This can create a more comfortable environment, especially for those who are new to gambling or prefer to keep their activities private.
Online casinos make it easy to deposit and withdraw money quickly. With a range of payment options like credit cards, e-wallets, bank transfers, and even cryptocurrencies, players can choose the method that suits them best. Some online casinos even offer instant withdrawals, meaning you can access your winnings as soon as you request them.
Live casinos aim to recreate the atmosphere of a real-world casino by streaming actual games played by human dealers in real-time. You get to interact with professional dealers, other players, and experience the full casino ambiance from the comfort of your own home. The feeling of being at a live table is hard to match with an automated online game.
Live casinos often have higher minimum bets compared to online games. This is due to the involvement of live dealers and the cost of streaming technology. For players looking for low-stakes games, this can be a disadvantage. However, the higher stakes can also create a more thrilling environment for those seeking to gamble more seriously.
While live casinos provide a more immersive experience, the selection of games can be more limited than that of online casinos. Live dealers typically focus on classic table games like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker. The availability of games may also depend on the casino’s operating hours or the number of players in the lobby.
Since live casino games are streamed in real-time, players can see every action taken by the dealer, ensuring a high level of transparency. Many players feel more secure knowing that there are no random number generators (RNGs) involved, and the outcomes are determined by real-life actions, such as the dealer shuffling the deck or spinning the roulette wheel.
Unlike online casinos, where you play against software-generated outcomes, live casinos allow you to interact with real dealers and other players. Whether you're chatting with the dealer or participating in multiplayer poker games, this social aspect can make the gaming experience feel much more engaging and dynamic.
